TAG: What's In My Bag?

Hello there!
I'm back with a cute little tag I love to watch on youtube because you can catch a sneaky little look inside the thing, most woman love the most; their HANDBAGS.
Basically this tag reveals everything you have in your bag at the moment and often you get some nice beauty recommendations as well, because who would carry crappy things around? Well yeah, no one.

The bag i'm going to show you was my go-to bag during my working-experience in the past weeks and therefore my huge bunch of school stuff wasn't envolved but I think I still have some things to show you, so I hope you'll have fun stalking my bag! :)

So first of all, this is my bag. It has a medium size and is just a little bit too small for school, which means DIN A4 format isn't fitting in. But besides that it's supercute and I got it from oasap.com (which you should definitely check out btw. They have some cute stuff!). The quality is amazing, no problems with the closure or anything and the design is quite unique.

But you're probably more interested in the things inside the bag, at least I'm always like that.
So here you see all my organization and electronical stuff;

My notebook with cute little kitties on it, which I looove and which totally saves me because I would never be able to remember everything I need to do without writing it down.
Next to my notebook, is my pink purse and I adore the cute little golden bow, I just think it's so pretty. But apart from that, it's kinda boring for you guys, because well.. you know, I carry my money and stuff like that in this little babe so... Nothing interesting haha.
Of course this picture wouldn't be complete without my phone and my ipod. Because let me tell you, if I would go anywhere without those two treasures, I would DIE. Ok, that might be a bit too dramatic but it would be horrible. And I know you'll understand this feeling; sitting in the bus and notice you forgot your ipod, not beeing able to listen to music and staring out of the window like a weird, bored person, being like uuurgghhh what am I gonna do with the next 30 minutes.... and so on. You know that, don't you? :D

This picture shows actually the fun, beauty stuff I carry with me. First the essentials:
My small pocket mirror, which my mum bought me years ago. Super essential whenever you need to check your messed-up hair or lipstick or whatever you need to do.
What I carry with me ALWAYS is hand sanitizer. Maybe I'm just a little 'anti-bacteria-freak' or a bit hypochondriac (or both...just sayin'..) but I just feel sooo much better when I'm traveling and can clean my hands from time to time, especially before I eat or something like that. Oh btw, this one is a small size from Bath and Body Works which I love, because it doesn't smell so 'alcoholic'? If you know what I mean. It also doesn't dry out your hands, which is amazing.
Next things are lip products. I admit I'm an addict when it comes to lip products, which is why I always carry at least 3 with me.
The one in the middle is the Nuxe Reve de Miel Lip Moisturizing Stick and this is a basic I always need to have with me. It moisturizes the lips amazingly but it has a light texture as well, which is perfect for the daytime. Moreover it has a fruity lemon scent which is quite refreshing.
The left one is a newbie I bought recently. It's the Essence Longlasting Lipstick in the colour 07 Natural Beauty. I have to say that I really, really enjoy this product. Essence is normally one of the cheapest brands in the drugstore and I'm usually not the biggest fan of their products but this one is really amazing. The colour is super pretty and totally natural, kind of a "My-Lips-But-Better' colour and the texture is very moisturizing as well. So far, a nice one.
The right product is one of my all time favourites, which is the Astor Soft Sensation Lipcolour Butter in the shade 011 Feeling Feline. I just love how creamy and nourishing these balms are and the colour is a super cute pinky coral. These also leave a sheer stain on your lips which makes them perfect if you're not a huge fan of touch-up's.
Furthermore there are some bobby pins and a few loose bracelets in my bag and yup, that was it all.
I hope you liked this tag and I wish you all a great week

Let me now, what's essential in your bag and why!

Review: Lush Oatifix Fresh Face Mask

Hey Beauties
Today I've my very first review for you guys and it's going to be about the Oatifix Mask from Lush!
I really like it and I'm definitely going to buy it again when it's empty. So now, let me tell you why I einjoy this mask so much:

What Lush says about it:
'Oatifix - Fresh Face Mask:
Cleanse, soften and moisturise dry, sensitive skin.
A blend of bananas, vanilla and oats to cool and nourish, illipe butter to reduce redness, ground almonds to gently polish and kaolin to cleanse your skin.'

Whenever I read 'oats' on any kind of skincare product I need to try it AT ANY RATE. Seriously, I really enjoy oatmeal not only as a nice breakfast but for my face as well. I think that started when I first tried to use pure oatmeal for cleansing my face (which is super amazing trust me, but can leave your bathroom pretty chaotic, which is why I not longer use it on a daily basis). I was really surprised how smooth and pretty my face feels and looks after cleansing it with oatmeal but the effort was just too high, so I searched desperately for skincare products that would have oats as an ingredient in them at least. So I was super happy when I discovered this at my local Lush store and bought it right away.
Ok, enough history stuff, now let's get into the categories!

Packaging:
This mask comes in a black pot made from recycled plastic. It has the name, description and ingredients of the mask on it, as well as an application note and the indication to store it in the fridge, because it's made from fresh ingredients.
It even says that if you return 5 clean lush pots to the shop, you'll get a free face mask! :)

Features / Ingredients:
Oatifix contains a bunch of natural ingredients like bananas, illipe butter and vanilla to calm down redness or irritation on your skin and kaolin to cleanse your face.
However the ingredient I enjoy the most, besides the oats, are the ground almonds because they give your skin a very smooth and pleasant scrub, which leaves your face super soft and healthy-looking.

Texture / Scent:
The mask has a kind of mushy (?) texture, just like soaked oatmeal. It is quite thick and has a lot of almond-scraps in it. It goes on like a rich paste and you're supposed to use a 'generous layer' on your face which makes it even more heavy. But I don't think that's a downside, because it feels super rich and nourishing on your skin.
The Scent is amazing! It smells very sweet and nutty with a hint of vanilla.

Application:
The application note on the mask claims to use, like I said, a 'generous layer' and leave it for about 5-10 minutes on your face. Afterwards you should rinse the mask off with warm water.
I personally leave the mask on for a longer time because I like the use it as a very rich and deep mask and as long as it isn't irritating my skin or start to feel tight after a while I leave it on. However, the longer you leave the mask on, the harder it is to wash it off because it can turn quite sticky on your face. But with a wet face cloth or something like that it's no problem at all. I usually use the mask once a week.

Price:
The Price might be the only downside to this produkt. 6.95$ for 2.1oz (10,45€ for 45ml) is definitely on the more expensive side for face products, especially because it's only durable for a few weeks because of its fresh ingredients.

Final Result:
For me, this is a great mask and it is a stable part of my skincare routine. I love how it gives my skin a very gentle exfoliation and supplies my face simultaneously with moisture. My skin feels super smooth and looks healthy and glowy everytime I use this mask and the smell makes it even more pleasing to use. Moreover, it isn't too heavy for my combination skin, even tough it claims to be optimal for dry skin types and I would totally recommend it for sensitive skin as well because of it's high-quality, natural ingredients.
All in all, this mask is one of my favorites and i would give it 4,5 out of 5 stars, -0,5 because of the price and its short durability.

So, that was my review about the Lush Oatifix Fresh Face Mask. I hope you enjoyed this review and if you have any further questions about it, feel free to ask me in the comments or let me know if you tried the Oatifix Mask as well and what you think about it!

Now, Let's Get Started!

First of all:
Welcome Beauties!

Now today I want to give you guys a small lead-in to my blog and what's a better way to get to know each other than the Get to know me - Beauty Tag?!
So, I read this tag on a few blogs and I'm sure you might know it as well, but for those who don't:
The tag has about 10 to 30 questions about hair, makeup and beauty habits as well as personal stuff and is divided into the regular 'Get to know me - Beauty Tag', which is more about beauty favs and stuff like that, and the more personal 'Get to know me - The Beauty Blogger Tag'.
I'm going to pick 10 of my favorite questions from both of them and now, without further fuss, let's do this!

1. How long does it take for you to put on your makeup?
Well that depends on what I want to do or where I'm going. My kind of 'Everyday-Look' takes me about 15 minutes because I'm super-lazy in the morning and I really don't want to get up even earlier than I have to anyway. But when I'm doing a full face makeup look for a party or any other, let's say, more festive occasion, it can take about 30 to 45 minutes because then I like to take my time.

2. What do you do first? Face or eyes?
Face, definitely. Maybe it's just a habit but I feel like I can blend out my foundation way better when I don't have to fear smudging already done eyes.

3. How tall are you?
I'm average 1,70m or 5'7".

4. Do you speak any foreign language?
I now have to say english because it is not my first language (so whenever I make mistakes or use words that are kind of lame, let me know in the comments so that I can improve haha). Besides that I had spanish at school, but I would'nt say that I can really speak it fluently. I also know a few words in korean and japanese because I have some friends over there but I'm more than far away from really speaking it.

5. What's your favourite colour?
Pink. Totally cliché I know.

6. What's your favourite makeup brand?
That's a hard one. I feel like I can't really decide because there are so many products and brands I haven't tested yet but if I had to choose, I would go for Urban Decay or Dior for high end and Kiko for drugstore makeup.

7. If you could change anything about your face, what would it be?
That would be either my teeth or the fact that I am pale as a ghost.

     8. Do you collect makeup or just buy what you need when you need it?
Hahahaha. Weeeeeell I think if you take a look at my instagram (which I linked for you in the sidebar, but it's actually my personal account so there will be no blog news, only the weird personal me haha) it's obvious that I buy way too many products and of course I don't really NEED all of them. But to my defense, I always read a lot of reviews and wait a certain time if there's a huge hype about a product before I buy it, to make sure I really want to have it even after some time passes.

9. Liquid eyeliner, pencil or gel?
My one and only true love: Gel eyeliner. I always had the problem that every liner I tried just disappeared. I'm not joking. It was like my eyes would eat them. Regardless of whether I used a pencil or liquid felt-tip liner, it just wouldn't last on my eyes. So I decided to try gel eyeliner when it first came out and I still use the one I bought back then! It is the usual black one from Maybelline and I absolutely love it. It doesn't smudge or disappear and I think it's a lot easier to apply than average liquid liner and even more pleasant to wear because of its creamy consistency.
(However, I'm just testing a pencil liner from Kiko and I'm pretty thrilled so far, so if you want me to do a review let me know in the comments!)

10. I try never to be seen without___?
This would be eyeliner again. I just think that eyeliner is the best way to either change or enhance the natural shape of your eyes and make them stand out even more. There are so many different ways to draw your liner and all of them achieve a different effect, which I love as well.

Yaaaaay, so that was the 'Get to know me - Beauty Tag' guys!
I tag everyone who wants to do this tag and hope you enjoyed mine.

Let me know if you liked it and if there are other tags you want me to do in the comments!
